At the home of his daughter, Mrs. Rose Wileman in Lake county, February 14th occurred the death of Rev. S. R. Dibble at the age of eighty-four. The body was brought to Clare and on Saturday funeral services were held from the Eagle school, from which community he removed four years ago, conducted by Rev. Mr. Moffit and interment made at Tonkin cemetery.
Deceased was attending revival meetings and was in the act of praying when stricken with apoplexy from which, though removed by kind friends to his daughter's home, he never recovered, nor did he again recognize anyone.
Four daughters, Mrs. Jas Orvis of Sheridan, Mrs. John Johnson of Farwell, Mrs. E. Welch of Gilmore and Mrs. Rose Wileman of Lake county who were present at the funeral, and two sons in Pennsylvania, survive.
His wife preceded him to the great beyond on January 21, 1908. He lived a Christian life for sixty-eight years and will be greatly missed as he was loved by all with whom he became acquainted.
