Reece
DeGolier of Bellingham died as a
result of a cerebral aneurysm on Feb. 5, 2005, in Bellingham. He was 30, born in
Bellingham on August 20, 1974, to Carla (Jorgensen) and Richard
DeGolier.
For many years, his father owned
and operated Smiley's Pizza and the Lighthouse Tavern in Oak Harbor and also
Shakey's Pizza in Bellingham.
Reece graduated from Oak Harbor High School in 1992. He owned and operated
The Factory on N. State Street in Bellingham, which he opened in 1998.
Reece knew how to live life and he lit up our world. He was an absolute
delight to everyone who knew him. He loved people, making them laugh, doing his
best to make them happy. He was kind and strong and helpful and always smiling.
He will be so dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father Dick
DeGolier
and grandmother
Dorothy
DeGolier.
Reece is survived by his mother
Carla Brigmantas and husband Vic of Bellingham, sister Tonja
DeGolier of Seattle, and
numerous other relatives and close friends.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, in the Jones - Moles
Funeral Home Chapel in Bellingham.
