Prattsburg-- Mrs. Edith M. Flood Dearlove, 70, died at her home on N. Main St. early Saturday morning, Mar. 13, after a long period of ill health. Mrs. Dearlove was born in Sanborn, N.Y. on July 29, 1877, the youngest child of Dr. Albert J. Flood of Elmira and Maria Treichler Flood Grames, who moved to Sanborn and where Mrs. Dearlove was born three months following the death of her father. The early part of her life was spent in Niagara Falls and Rochester, coming as a young lady in 1901 to Prattsburg with her mother and stepfather, the Rev. R. C. Grames, who was appointed pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church. In 1903 she was united in marriage to George W. Dearlove. To them were born three children, Margaret and Mary who survive, and a son Albert who died at the age of four years. Mrs. Dearlove was an active member of the Methodist Church, attending faithfully every Sunday until her recent illness five weeks ago. She was also a member of the WSCS and the Prattsburg Grange.

Mrs. Dearlove is survived by her two daughters, Mrs. Clair Mann and Mrs. C. W. Hannum, both residing in Prattsburg and her husband, George W. Dearlove; two grandsons, Harold Mann of Syracuse, and Burt Mann at home; one sister, Mrs. Denton A. Fuller, and one brother, Albert H. Flood.
