Mrs. Lela Cullen, 61 of Providence, died at 9:35 p.m. Sunday at the home of a
daughter, Mrs. W.D. Roberts, in Paducah.
Mrs. Cullen, who was a member of Victory Baptist Church, was the widow of Albert
Cullen, for many years an employee of Providence Post Office.
Survivors besides Mrs. Roberts are two other daughters, Mrs. Guy Jackson and
Mrs. Harold Travis of Providence; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Eura
Browning of St. Louis, Mo.; and six brothers, William and Frank Galusha of
Detroit, Mich., Opie, Ollie, Elijah and Earlie Galusha of Eddyville.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Victory Baptist Church, with
the Rev. Carl Harkins officiating, assisted by the Rev. E. M. Skinner, pastor of
the church.
Burial was in Cullen cemetery.
Pallbearers were Herbert Fraser, Baker Thompson, Thomas Thomson, Bobby Cobb,
Herbert Clayton and Ray Buckner.
