Jesse Ray Culbertson, 58, of 300 Burgess, died Saturday evening in a Topeka hospital.  He was born June 9, 1900 in Humboldt and had lived in Topeka for 34 years.  He was associated with the North Side Cleaners from 1931 until his recent illness.  He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Vera A. Culbertson of the home; six sons, Dale R. of Manhattan; Charles E. of Madison, Tenn.; Jack C. of 3216 Bryant; and Donald K, Larry O. and Joseph R. of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Doris Ann Schmidt of 1996 North Monroe and Miss Vera Kay Culbertson of the home; his father, Harry E. Culbertson of 1290 College; a brother, Melvin of Parkville, MO.; two sisters, Mrs. Viola Moffitt of 1728 Hope, and Mrs. Leda Whitlow of 2201 Moundview; and six grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Parker Mortuary.
