South Ashburnham – William Judson Cudworth died at his home on School street this morning at 4:15 o’clock, aged 65 years.  He was the son of William Cudworth and Cynthia (Kinney) Cudworth, and was born in Readsboro, Vt., Apr. 2, 1858.

Mr. Cudworth's boyhood was spent in Bondville and South Londonderry, Vt.  He was married Oct. 1, 1880 to Alice L. Duane, who died in 1916.  His second wife, who was S. Ella Hodges, survives him.  He also leaves a son, Dr. C. D. Cudworth of Winsted, Ct.; a daughter, Bessie M. Cudworth of White Plains N.Y. and a sister, Emily E. Coon of Brattleboro, Vt.

In 1888, Mr. Cudworth came to this town and with the exception of a short time spent in Dalton, Ga., he had resided here ever since.  He was a member of the People's Church, which he served as a deacon for seven years.  He was a member of Naukeag lodge, I.O.O.F.

The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Odd Fellows service at the home. Burial will be at the New Cemetery at Ashburnham.
