Eileen Crowe, daughter of the late Harvey and Martha Jennings McRoy, was born at Bloomfield on Dec. 25, 1929, and died at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau on March 3, 2007, at the age of 77.

Mrs. Crowe had spent all her life in the Bloomfield Community. On May 16, 1946, she was married to Noel Crowe, and he preceded her in death on April 9, 1975.

Survivors include one son, Brian Crowe of Dexter; two daughters, Carolyn Burge of St. Louis, and Nancy Crowe of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Calvin McRoy of Bloomfield, Don McRoy of Alton, Ill., and Ronnie McRoy of Brownwood; three sisters, Vivian Patterson of Dexter, Jenny Hendrix of Chaffee, and Geraldine Harris of Bloomfield; four grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four sons, Terry, Tim, Gary and Jeff Crowe; two brothers, Sonny and H.M. McRoy; and two sisters, Velma Kingree and Wilma Henley.

Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2007, at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2007, at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Kevin Chenoweth officiating.

Interment followed in the Walker Cemetery.
