ERIE, Pa. -- Dolores (Dee) Crooks, 61, of 340 W. 23rd St., died Tuesday (Dec. 7, 1993) in St. Vincent Health Center.

Born Oct. 17, 1932 in Port Allegany, she was a daughter of Alfred and Peg Higgins Grigsby.  She was married to Donald Crooks, who survives.  Mrs. Crooks had lived in Erie for the past 13 years.

She was a member of the Christian Assembly and had been the church's cleaning woman for the past eight years.  She also had worked at the Great Lakes Health Care building.

Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Barbara) Booth of Eldred [note: actually her sister], and Robin Litz of Erie; three sons, Robert Crooks of Raleigh, N.C., Donald Crooks Jr. of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Richard Raught of Highland Springs, Va.; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a sister.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., West, 536 W. 10th St., Erie, Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.  Funeral services will be held Friday (Dec. 10, 1993) at 11 a.m. in the Christian Assembly, 2417 Liberty St., with the Rev. David Frank officiating.  Private burial will take place in Lamphier Cemetery, Eldred.
