Levi A. Crampton died at his home, 163 Kingman, Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock.  He was 83 years old and is survived by his widow, two sons, Merton and Vernor Crampton, both of this city, two daughters, Mrs. Nora Horn of this city and Mrs. Nellie Pike of Charlotte, one sister, Mrs. Elvin Wagoner of 78 Post and two brothers, Arthur E. Crampton of California and Oscar Crampton of Marshall.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock from Hebble's chapel, conducted by the Rev. George Titus. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery.
