Rodney L. Corlew, son of Mary M. Litzler Corlew and the late Charles William
Corlew, was born in Poplar Bluff, Mo., on July 9, 1959, and died at Missouri
Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Mo., on Feb.12, 2012, at the age of 52.
He had lived in Essex and Dexter all his life. Rodney was a self- employed truck
driver and a member of the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter.
On Feb. 18, 1995, he was married to Vickie Edwards in Dexter, Mo.
Surviving are his wife, Vickie Corlew of Dexter; two daughters, Jessica Corlew of Bloomfield and Lindsey Corlew of Springfield; one granddaughter, Rylee Corlew of Bloomfield; two brothers and spouse, Michael Joe Corlew of Essex and Charles Ray and Lisa Corlew of Aid; and three sisters and spouses, Sandy K. and Glenn McMullin, Charlotte A. and Mark Stutts, and Mary Jan Wheeler, all of Essex, Mo. Other family and friends also survive.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, with Rev. Rick Patterson of Athens, Tenn., and Rev. Tim Russell of Dexter officiating.
Interment will be in Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
