Robin S. "Rob" Connor, age 59, of Toledo, passed away Monday, December 6, 2010, at The Toledo Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 1, 1951 to Robert and Virginia (Bartley) Connor in Toledo.

Rob graduated from Whitmer High School and also the University of Toledo. He was an avid poker player, often playing in local poker clubs in Toledo. Rob was a member of the Toledo Silver Streaks and in his early years he was involved with the Wheelchair Olympics.

Rob is survived by his siblings, Dawn (Mel) Foels, Denise (Tom) Miller, Mark (Marilyn) Connor and Claudia (Tim) Emert; many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents, sister and brother-in-law, Shirley (Marv) Beutler and brothers, Bud Kasch and Ray Connor.

The family will receive guests Wednesday 2-7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will follow visitation and begin at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
