OBITUARY
Name: Edwin William Collins

Date: Friday, September 25, 1936
Edward [sic] Collins, 36, a well known resident
of this city, died shortly after 5 o'clock Wednesday evening at St. Mary's
Hospital in Evansville, where he had been a patient three different times since
August 4. Death was due to complications from an infected finger.
Mr. Collins was a valuable employee of Derr Brothers Bottling Works, where had
been an associate for the past twenty years. He was well liked by his
employers and those associated with him in his work and was popular with a large
group of other friends.
He leaves his mother, Mrs. Sadie Collins, and a brother Charlie Collins, both of
this city.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock this Friday afternoon at the home
on south Fourth street with Rev. F. H. Heidelberg of the Hemenway Memorial
Church in charge. Burial will be in Maple Grove cemetery. The
bearers will be the following young men from the Bottling Works: Hobart Simpson,
Sheldon Fisher, Ralph Broshears, Charles Broshears, Kermit Youngblood and James
Derr.
