Mrs. Cora Hazlett Close, aged 69 years, widow of Dr. L. M. Close, formerly of Keeneyville, died last Tuesday at her home at Ithaca, NY, where for many years she was connected with the Cascodilla School.

She is survived by one son, W. D. Close, of NY, vice president of the Edison Portland Cement Co. and a granddaughter, Margaret Close of NY.

Funeral was held Saturday; burial in the Keeneyville Cemetery.
