Charley William Case, 77, of Stella, Missouri, died March 25 after an illness of
two weeks. At one time he farmed southwest of Winfield, Kansas in the Easterly
community.
The son of George and Susanna Case, he was born September 10, 1886 near
Havensville. He was married to Nellie Burnison at Onaga and moved to the
Winfield community from here.
Survivors are his widow; three daughters, Mrs. Alice Cunningham of Oklahoma
City, Mrs. Norma Milkas of Crown Point, Indiana and Mrs. Marlyn Strickland of
Long Beach, California; two sons, Howard of Commerce, Oklahoma and Charles of
Denver; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Nellie
Rawlings of Winfield.
Burial was at Stella, Missouri.
