HINSDALE -- Barbara A. Case of 4190 Route 16 died Sunday (July 6, 2003) in Olean General Hospital.

Born Feb. 16, 1933, in Olean, she was a daughter of the late John and Frances Parett Threehouse.  On Oct. 10, 1953, in Olean, she married Norman B. Case, who survives.

Mrs. Case was employed by Acme Electric Corp. in Cuba for 22 years prior to her retirement.

She attended Maplehurst Baptist Church and was a member of the Hinsdale American Legion Auxiliary and Olean Kennel Club.

Mrs. Case was an avid animal lover, especially pug dogs.  She loved her family and enjoyed traveling and taking bus trips.

Surviving besides her husband are a daughter, Deborah Case (John) Mohr of Allegany; two brothers, Ronald Threehouse and James (Diane) Threehouse, both of Olean; four sisters, June Threehouse (Larry) Gallets, Mary Threehouse (William) Graham and Sandy Threehouse, all of Olean and Sharon Threehouse (Dr. Edward) Jordan of Portville; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Virginia Threehouse Kenyon; and a brother, John Threehouse.

Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean, where funeral and committal services will be held Friday (July 11, 2003) at 11 a.m.  The Rev. Richard T. Kester, pastor of the Maplehurst Baptist Church, will officiate.  Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olean.
