Lee Carpenter, a lifelong resident of Jemison Valley, died at the Blossburg
hospital May 24. He was a son of the late Charles and May Burrell
Carpenter and resided on his father's farm, where he had spent his entire 60
years.He leaves his widow, Zilthia Osgood Carpenter; a son Charles, and a
brother Glenn all at home.
