Name:    George Edward Bronson

George E. Bronson, 1233 Layard Ave., age 65, passed away Jan. 17, 1958, in St. Mary's Hospital, after a short illness.  Mr. Bronson was born in Racine on March 22, 1892 and had been a lifelong resident.  In Racine, in 1917, he was married to the former Emma C. Franke. 

During World War I, he served in the U.S. Army.  He had been employed at the Young Radiator Co. for 15 years, where he was an inspector, last working on Dec. 20, 1957.  He was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, American Legion Post 76, Belle City Lodge No. 92 F. and A. M., the Acacia Club and Local 37 of Young Radiator Co.

Surviving are his wife, Emma; one son, George E. Bronson Jr. of Racine; one daughter, Mrs. A. E. (Lorraine) Carlson of St. Louis, Mo.; three grandchildren, Kathy and Gary Bronson of Racine and George Arthur Carlson of St. Louis, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Viola Bassinger and Mrs. Bessie Giese of Racine; two brothers, Russell and William of Racine; many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 20 10 a.m. in the Krug Memorial Home, Rev. Alexander Simpson officiating.  Interment will be in the family plot in Graceland Cemetery with military services at the graveside.  Friends may call at the Krug Memorial Home, corner of Barker and Lincoln Sts. Sunday afternoon after 4 o'clock during the evening and until the services.  Arthur D. Holmes, Worshipful Master of Belle City Lodge No. 92 F. and A. M. will conduct memorial services Sunday evening 8 p.m. in the Krug Memorial Home.  All past Masters are asked to please meet at the Temple Sunday evening at 7 o'clock.
