Clifford Benjamin Boyce, the son of the late Albert and Ada Mae Palmer Boyce, was born in Bloomfield on Jan. 4, 1917 and died at the Beverly Health and Rehab Center in Dexter on Dec. 2, 2001, at the age 84.

Mr. Boyce had lived in St. Louis and Calif. before returning to Bloomfield several years ago. He was a resident of Dexter at the time of his death. He was a retired machinist, a Veteran of the United States Army and was a member of the V.F.W.

He is survived by one son, Bill Boyce of Rogers, Ark.; by two daughters, Barbara Nicolini of Poplar Bluff and Martha Hufford of Bloomfield; by six grandchildren; by seven great-grandchildren; by one sister, Virginia Nesbitt of Cadiz, Ky.; and by one brother, Ray E. Boyce of Louisville, Ky.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 4 from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 11 a.m. in the West Pleasant Valley Cemetery near Bloomfield with Rev. Mike Watkins of Dexter officiating. Interment will follow in the West Pleasant Valley Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of all arrangements.
