OBITUARY

Darwin A. Bliss, formerly of this city, died at 4 Center street, Randolph, N.Y., Friday morning, at 2:30 o'clock, at the age of 52 years.

He was a member of the First Methodist church, the Masonic lodge and Rotary club. In 1913 Mr. Bliss left the Maddox Table company, Jamestown, N.Y., to start the American Panel company at Cattaraugus, N.Y.. In 1923, he moved from Cattaraugus, N.Y. to York and organized the Bliss Plywood corporation. In 1928, he became the Eastern representative for the United Plywood corporation, of New Albany, Ind.

He leaves a wife, Alice W.; three daughters, Mrs. James W. Ogg, of York; Mrs. J. J. Clune, of Flushing, L. I.; Dorothy May, of Randolph, and a son, D. Howard, of Randolph, N.Y. Funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon. Interment was made in the Randolph cemetery.
