Mrs. Alice (Roys) Blair, 82, of Hancock Rd., Williamstown, died this morning in the North Adams Hospital where she was admitted three weeks ago.

Mrs. Blair was the widow of George Blair who died in April.  She was born in New Ashford, the daughter of Arthur B. Roys and Harriet Roberts.

A resident of Williamstown for 60 years, Mrs. Blair was active in the Second Congregational Church in South Williamstown, serving as clerk of the church for 40 years and treasurer of the Dorcas Society for 36 years.  She also was a charter member of the Williamstown Grange.

Mrs. Blair is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Edna Larson of Williamstown and a grandson, Burritt Larson of Camp Dix, N.J.

It was announced that friends may send flowers or make donations to the organ fund of the Second Congregational Church in South Williamstown.  There will be no calling hours at Hopkins Funeral Home.  The body will be cremated.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Second Congregational Church in South Williamstown with the Rev. John C. Wiley, pastor, officiating.
