Mrs. Mary L. bishop died of blood poisoning, Dec 1, at her home at West Caton, Steuben County, NY., aged 34 years and 6 months.

Her first husband was Chas A. Stanton, by whom there were four children, who survive. About a year ago she was married to A. Bishop, and a five weeks' old babe is left.

Deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George P. Nixon, of Caton. She leaves one sister, Mrs. Carrie E. Wood, of Caton; and one brother, J. Leroy Nixon, City Editor of the Buffalo Courier.

Mrs. Bishop was a young woman of marked intelligence and of sweet and amiable disposition, and she was highly esteemed by a large circle of friends.
