VICTIM OF CYCLE ACCIDENT WILL BE BURIED TOMORROW, Leo Berry.
Funeral services for Leo Berry, 19, of 239 Oakley Pl., NE, who died yesterday
morning at Blodgett hospital from injuries suffered when a motorcycle on which
he was riding plunged off US-16 east of the Kent county line, will be held at 2
o'clock Monday afternoon at the Oakfield chapel. Burial will be in Oakfield
cemetery.
Surviving Berry are his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Witham; one
brother, Howard Berry; two step-brothers, Walno and Harold Witham, all of this
city; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Cornell of Harvard, Mrs. Julia
Northway and his great-grandmother, Mrs. Diana Hull of Smyrna.
He was a member of the Headquarters company of the Grand Rapids Battalion, 126th
infantry, Michigan National Guard.
