Margaret Bell, age 82, of Eddyville, died
Wednesday, August 6, at Baptist Health in Paducah. She was retired owner of
Bell's Bait and Tackle, a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, member of
Order of Eastern Star, and a Kentucky Colonel. After her retirement she was a
healthcare worker at Crittenden County Convalescent Center and Hilltop Nursing
Home.
Survivors include one son, Donald Bell & wife, Julie, Kuttawa, KY; two
daughters, Janice Perry & husband, Pat, Princeton, KY; Nancy Cooper & husband
Hayden, Princeton, KY; twelve grandchildren, Robbin McCord, Alyssa Holliman,
Molly Egbert, Laura Ward, Jacob Bell, Ryan Perry, Tiffanie Spurlock, Mistie
Clark, Jamie Puckett, Brandon Bell, Casey, Cooper, and Jarran Phelps, twenty
five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Athal Bell, her parents, Opie and
Sally Barrett Galusha; one son, James Carver Bell; two daughters, Betty Aldridge
and Carolyn Boaz; one brother, Joe Galusha; and one sister, Lillian Hamilton.
Visitation will be Friday, August 8 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lakeland Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 9, at the funeral
home with Rev. Eric Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in Providence
Cemetery in Lyon County.
