The funeral of Mrs. Tryphena Lorraine (Proud) Beebe, 79, widow of Daniel F. Beebe and a resident of Williamstown for many years, will be held at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Harry J. Beebe of North Hoosac road.  Rev. Archie G. Axtell of the White Oak Congregational will officiate and burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Beebe died shortly before 11 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of her daughter-in-law.  Although she had been in poor health for several years, she had been confined to bed for only a week.

A native of Bennington, Vt., Mrs. Beebe had made her home here for more than a half-century.  She had many friends and acquaintances in the community, all of whom had great affection for her.  She was a member of the First Congregational Church.

Mrs. Beebe's son, Harry J. Beebe died on November 21, 1935 and her husband on April 30th last.  She is survived by one son, D. Frank Beebe, of Williamstown, and three granddaughters, Mrs. G. Brenton Fisk and Mrs. Andrew J. Garrison, both of Williamstown and Mrs. Cyrus Dingman of Troy, N.Y.
