OBITUARY

Name:   Lois A. (Carpenter) Beaman

Lois A. Beaman, widow of the Late Emmer L. Beaman, died at the home of her son, Ross V. Beaman, at Endicott, N.Y., Oct. 14, 1932.  She was born in Charleston township June 28, 1852, and was married to Emmer L. Beaman, of Middlebury, in 1879.  The first two years of their married life was spent in Wisconsin and Iowa.  They then returned and settled on Marsh Creek, where they resided until the death of Mr. Beaman in 1905.. Since that time, Mrs. Beaman has resided with her son or daughter at the farm in Endicott, N.Y.

She is survived by one son, Ross V. Beaman, of Endicott, and one daughter, Mrs. John T. Conklin, of Binghamton; also one brother, Truman E. Carpenter, of Charleston, and one granddaughter, Betty Lois Beaman.

She was a charter member of First Baptist Church of Marsh Creek, and at the time of her death, a member of the First Baptist Church of Endicott.  A prayer service was held at the home of her son at Endicott.  The funeral services were held at the Evans Funeral Home in Wellsboro Sunday, Oct. 16, Rev. C. W. Sheriff officiating; burial at Keeneyville.
