Verna Mae Barrett, 84, of Danville, passed away April 25, 2006, in Danville.

She was born Nov. 6, 1921, in Oklahoma. Mrs. Barrett was a longtime resident of Salinas prior to moving to Walnut Creek a year and a half ago.

Survivors:  Husband of 60 years, Robert Barrett; son, Bob (Sue) Barrett, Jr.; daughter, Suzette (Bill) Burdt; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services:  11:30 a.m., Friday, April 28, at Wilson & Kratzer Chapel of San Ramon Valley, 825 Hartz Way, Danville.

Private Interment:  Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 18200 Damian Way, Salinas
