OBITUARY

Name:    Hoover Landois Barnett

Boonville resident Hoover Barnett St. died Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 3:30 p.m. at Warrick Hospital.  He was 86.

He was a retired coal miner and a member of United Mine Workers of America for over 64 years. He was active with the Republican Party for many years. 

Survivors include his wife of 63 years Rosalyn (Julian) Hoover of Boonville; two daughters, Bettye Smith of Indianapolis and Barbara Winstead of Boonville; five sons, Hoover L. Barnett Jr. of Sheridan, Jack H. Barnett of Tennyson, Terry Barnett of South Whitley, Mike Barnett and Gary Luther Barnett, both of Boonville; 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.   

Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 12 at Koehler Funeral Home.  Father James Sauer officiated.  Burial was in Folsomville Cemetery.
