Mr. Aslin was of the Baptist faith, a former line worker for Ozark Dairy in Dexter, and a resident of Dexter. He was united in marriage to Mildred Launius on May 27, 1944, at Bloomfield, and she survives of the home in Dexter. Other survivors include one daughter, Kathy Tinker of Grover City, Calif.; one brother, Rube Aslin of the state of Washington; three sisters, Leah Wilson of the state of Washington, Marion Moody of Sikeston, and Marjorie Ann Hopkins of Alton, Ill.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Dale Aslin; two brothers, Clifton Aslin and Ray Aslin; two sisters, Sylvia Page and Ruth Stone.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. today, Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2002. Funeral services will then be conducted at 2:00 p.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Calvin Buhler officiating. Interment will follow in the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield.
