DEXTER - Mildred Aslin, 82, died Oct. 11, 2005, at Missouri Southern Healthcare at Dexter.

Born Aug. 20, 1923, in Bloomfield, daughter of the late Aud Launius and Estelle Lewis Launius, she was of the Baptist belief and a former urology nurse at Kneibert Clinic in Poplar Bluff.

On May 27, 1944, in Bloomfield, she married William Carl Aslin, who preceded her in death Oct. 14, 2002.

Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Larry Tinker of Groves Beach, Calif.; one daughter-in-law, Susan Aslin of Fenton; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Dale Aslin and by two brothers.

Friends may call from noon Friday, until time for services at 2 p.m. at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Calvin Buhler will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Walker Cemetery at Bloomfield.
