DALTON -- Mrs. Martha Anderson, 67, wife of John C. Anderson, died this morning at Pittsfield General Hospital after a short illness.  She was born in Williamstown, daughter of Charles and Hattie Cleveland Galusha.  Mrs. Anderson lived here for more than 40 years.  For the past 12 years, she was employed by Crane & Co. She was a member of the Congregational church here.

Survivors, besides her husband, are two sons, Clyde D. of Clayton, J. Charles Anderson Jr. of Pittsfield; three daughters, Mrs. Ralph Holcomb of Pittsfield, Mrs. Walter J. Phelps of Meriden, Conn., Mrs. Harold F. Potts of Pittsfield; 20 grandchildren; three brothers, Charles Galusha of Warrington, Ore., George and Lyman Galusha of this town; four sisters, Mrs. Herbert Burdick of Charlemont, Mrs. Julius Benseo of Metuchen, N.J., Mrs. Walter Kemp of Dalton, Mrs. G. Milo Green of Wilbraham; several nieces and nephews.

The body is at the Bartlett Funeral Home where services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30.  Burial will be in Main Street Cemetery, Dalton.  The family will meet friends at the funeral home tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
