Francis M. Almond:  Paid Final Tribute; Burial in Decatur

Funeral Services for Mr. Francis M Almond, 72, well known Atlantan of 2028 Boulevard Drive NE who died Saturday afternoon at a private sanitarium, were held Wednesday morning at the chapel of A. S. Turner. Rev. D. P. McGeachy officiated.

Mr. Almond was formerly for many years a representative of the Singer Sewing Machine Company in Fulton and De Kalb counties and for the past five or six years had been Georgia representative of the Apex company of Pittsburgh PA.

He is survived by his wife, three sons, Hollis B. and Hooper V. Almond both of Atlanta, and Hoke S. Almond of New York City and three daughters, Mrs. C. F. Hooper of Cedartown, and Mrs. Flonnie A. Hester and Miss Madge Almond both of Atlanta, three brothers, William T. Almond and Alexander Almond of Lithonia, Benjamin F. Almond of Atlanta, three sisters, Mrs. Saline Howard, Mrs. Zuma Weeks of Lithonia, Mrs. Martha Townsend of Atlanta, and five grandchildren.
