Notes:
Jerome was arrested in 1891.  The story, from the Mitchell Daily Republican, Mitchell SD:
INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 28 -- Jerome A Oblinger, the defaulting postmaster of Arlington, Minn., has been arrested by federal officers and brought here.  Oblinger was a lawyer and banker at Arlington and he says he is now ready to make good his shortage.

In 1900, Elva states she is a widow and, along with the boys, was living with her brother, Karl while Mabel was living with Elva's parents. Jerome was in the Minnesota State Prison.  By 1910, he was remarried and living in Minneapolis.
