Greg Nolting, younger son of Bus [Charles] and Vicki Nolting, was born in Imperial, and was raised in Craik.

On 26 March 1977 he married Donna Dennis of Moose Jaw. They resided on Greg's parents farm in a trailer.

On 25 December 1978, they had their first child, a girl, Renee Victoria. They moved to their own farm in
1979, where they live now, two miles northeast of Craik, above the Regional Park.

On 6 September 1981 they had their second child, a son, Gregory Brett. Both children were born in Craik Hospital and delivered by Dr. John McCaw.
