Notes:
Donald's sister Winifred married Laurine's brother Wilfred.
Donald [Spike], son of Edward and Clarinda, and Laurine Nolting, came to the Craik area in 1950. They lived and worked on the Buster Nolting farm a while before going out to the Pilgrim district to farm the Charlie Rhodes farm for a few years.
They had two children, Blair and Dawn Faye. The children attended Craik School for a limited time before moving to Calgary. Blair lives in that city with his wife Marisa and young son, Nick. Dawn Faye is married and lives in Port Coquitlam, B.C. They have a young daughter.
Due to ill health (a stroke), Spike now lives in Craik.
Laurine passed away suddenly in March 1983 in Calgary.
