Notes:

Between the age of 9-15 Beulah was taken to an orphanage run by the Sisters of the Good Shepherd in Kansas City, Mo. In 1914 she entered the order. Having found it was not her vocation, she left in February of 1916. In September of that year, she reentered the order in Omaha, NE. In 1919, she left to live with her mother (now Mary James) in St. Joseph.  By 1930, both she and William had died and John had given up his children.  All the children can be found either in orphanages or, in James' case, living with his adoptive family, Emil & Rosemary Cost.

Beulah died under the name of Cindrich but her cemetery stone says Beulah Miller.
