     George Blackman & Wife to Jacob Galusha -
This Indenture, Made this Twentieth day of August in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and fifty two Between George Blackman and Mariah his wife of the town of Scio of the County of Allegany and State of New York of the first part, and Jacob Galusha of Steuben County of New York of the Second part Witnesseth that the party of the first part in consideration of the sum of Twenty five Dollars to them duly paid have sold and by these presents do grant and convey to the said party of the Second part his heirs, and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of land Situate in Township Second Range Second of Morris Reserve in the Said County of Allegany Being part of Lot number forty five in said Township and Range & Bounded as follows, beginning at a post in the North West corner of Lot of Land deeded to said Blackman by Jerome Hungerford by Deed bearing date May 31, 1851, and Recorded; and Running thence Easterly bounding on the North line of said Lot twenty rods, Thence Southerly and parallel with the publick highway Eight Rods Thence westerly and parallel with the said north line twenty rods to centre of said highway thence Northerly on the said highway to the place of beginning containing one acre of land.
     With the appurtenances, and all the estate, title and interest of the said party of the first part therein.  And the said George Blackman doth hereby covenant and agree that at the delivery hereof being the lawful owner of the premises alone granted and seized of a good and indefeasible Estate on inheritance therein, and that he Will warrant and Defend the above granted premises in the quiet and peaceable possession of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever in Witnesseth Whereof the said party of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year above written.

     On the Twentieth day of August 1852 before me John Simons a Justice of the Peace in and for Said County came George Blackman & Maria M. Blackman whom I know to be the Grantors described in and who executed the above deed and acknowledged they had Executed the same and the said Mariah M. Blackman on a private Examination separate and apart from her husband acknowledged she Executed the same freely and without fear or compulsion of her said husband.

This Indenture, Made this Seventeeth day of September in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and fifty-seven Between Jacob Galutia & Betsey his wife of the town of Scio County of Allegany and State of New York of the first part, and George Blackman of the same place of the second part,

 Witnesseth,  that the said party of the first part, in consideration of the sum of One hundred & Twenty five Dollars to them duly paid, have sold, and BY THESE PRESENTS, do grant and convey to the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, All that Tract or Parcel of Land, situate in Town of Scio in the County of Allegany in Township Second Range Second of Morris Reserve in the said County of Allegany Being part of Lot number forty five in said Township and Range & Bounded as follows Beginning at a post in the North West corner of a Lot of Land Deeded to said Blackman by Jerome Hungerford by Deed Bearing date May 31st 1851and Recorded and Running thence Easterly Bounding on the North line of said lot twenty rods thence Southerly & parallel with the Public Highway Eight Rods Thence Westerly and parallel with the said North line Twenty rods to centre of said highway thence Northerly on the centre of said highway to the place of beginning containing one acre of land.
     With the Appurtenances, And all the Estate, Title and Interest therein of the said party of the first part.  And the said Jacob Galutia doth hereby covenant and agree, to and with the said party of the second part, his, heirs and assigns that the premises thus conveyed in the quiet and peaceable possession of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, he will forever WARRANT AND DEFEND, against any person whomsoever, lawfully claiming the same or any part thereof.
     In witness Whereof, the party of the first part have hereunto set their hand and seals, the day and year above written.

     On the Seventh day of October in the year one thousand eight hundred fifty Seven before me, the subscriber, personally appeared Jacob Galutia & Betsey Galutia his Wife to me knownto be the same persons, described in, and who executed the within instrument, who severally acknowledged that they executed the same.
     And the said Betsey Galutia on a private examination by me, apart from her said husband, acknowledged that she executed the same freely, and without fear or compulsion of her said husband.
