Notes:    

Joel Garrison enlisted in 1776. He was a member of the Continental Army and served for one year in the Revolutionary War as a Drummer in Captain Joseph Bloomfield's Company, Col. Dayton's 3rd New Jersey Regiment. Joel later served as a private in Captain Patterson's company. 3rd New Jersey Regiment and in the Battle of Monmouth. He also served in the Militia under Captain Garrison. His pensioned claim # is S32261.
