It seems that the spelling change for this branch of Galusha (to Galutia)
started to happened with the 1830 Census. Prior to that, all findings of their last
name was spelled Galusha. From 1830 forward, records for Abiram and some
of his children (Abiram Jr., & Samuel) show the surname spelled
Galutia while the others maintained the Galusha spelling.
