By 1850, Lydia and Louis were living with Lydia's parents, with no sign of John, and they remained there until Louis married and Lydia died..  Some records show Lydia married a John Hollister but Louis' surname in 1850 showed Curtis.  It is later shown as Hollister instead of Curtis.
